The Copyright Institute
The Copyright Institute is an operationally independent unit of the Finnish Copyright Society. A decision to set up the Institute was made at the autumn 1991 meeting and the founding documents were signed in 1992. The Institute became active in April 1993.
The Copyright Institute carries out the Society’s publishing activities and maintains the Finnish Copyright Society Library.
The Copyright Institute also conducts and promotes research on copyright-related issues. Research priorities have included European integration, impacts of technological development, international development and the economics of copyright.
